Your drafts sync through your own iCloud Drive and turn up in the Files app beside everything else. Open the same document on the Mac, the iPad and the phone. Indenta uses the Apple account you already have.
Neither one is the other inverted. Indenta follows your system and changes with it, so the page looks right at a desk in the morning and in bed at midnight.
Headings, bold, italic, strikethrough, code, quotes, lists and links style themselves the moment you type them. The markers stay on screen, dimmed, so what you see on the page is what is in the file.
Markers hang out in the margin instead of pushing your words sideways. A third-level heading starts where a first-level heading starts, and a wrapped list item lines up under its own text.
Your writing, most recently edited first. Make one, rename it, throw it away. Each draft is an ordinary .md file, so anything that opens text can open it.
Group your drafts into real folders, nested as deep as you like. They are where you would expect them in Finder and in Files, and search still reaches across all of them.
Search titles and every word inside every document. Results show the match highlighted with the line around it, so you know which draft you are looking at before you open it.
Three typefaces: monospace, sans, or grotesque. Four column widths on the Mac. Pick the one that suits the writing and the room you are in.
Print, or export a PDF, in a layout made for paper: markers gone, headings set as headings, lists set as lists. Switch between A4 and Letter and the document repaginates rather than clipping.

Your drafts live on your device and, if you are signed into iCloud, in your own iCloud Drive — under your Apple account, not ours. There is no sign-up, and no server of ours holds your documents. The app does send anonymous crash and performance reports so we can fix what breaks; they carry no part of your writing.
